This photo was taken after it was killed and I'm not going anywhere near that thing, so Isaac can clean it up when he gets home! (shiver)
I HATE spiders! I'm sure you can imagine the adrenaline rush when I saw this bad boy! I had just finished giving Jared a baby food feeding and was carrying him into the living room when I spotted the nasty creature. I swear that thing was the size of one of those fake spider rings at Halloween, which also freak me out by the way! haha! I quickly laid Jared down in a different room, ran and grabbed a shoe and the bug spray and rushed back to find the spider darting under the carpet! Eew! Luckily, he came back out and I sprayed that thing until it was barely able to move, then I smashed it with the shoe to make sure it wasn't going anywhere and then I sprayed it some more! Just another tidbit of information, as if all this doesn't make your skin crawl enough, I'm pretty sure this is the same spider that I thought was dead in the closet several months ago but had disappeared by the time I came back to kill it.. I hate when I find things like this. It makes me wonder what else is lurking in the corners and I don't want to think about that! I am rather proud of myself, though! Super Mom to the rescue! haha! Now I can't wait until Jared is old enough to want to kill them for me! haha!
